Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Seed Finder ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the Service.

What Seed Finder does

Seed Finder helps you find Minecraft Java Edition world seeds by translating natural-language descriptions into structured filters and searching candidate seeds in your browser. The translation step uses a third-party AI service (see the Privacy Policy for specifics). Seed search runs locally in your browser via WebAssembly.

Account & sign-in

You sign in via Clerk. You're responsible for keeping your account secure. One account per person.

Credits and payments

• Each successful translate call consumes one credit.
• Credits are purchased in packs via Stripe. You can buy more at /buy when signed in.
• No refunds for used credits. Unused credits in a purchased pack are non-refundable unless required by law.
• If something goes wrong with a query, we may grant compensatory credits at our discretion — email the admin.
• Credit prices may change. Existing balances are unaffected by price changes.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the Service. In particular: don't use it to harass others, don't try to circumvent the credit system, don't run automated scripts that exceed the per-user rate limit, and don't attempt to reverse-engineer Anthropic's API through us.

No warranty

The Service is provided as-is. Search results are based on Mojang's world-generation algorithm as best approximated by thecubiomes library — for some structures on Minecraft 1.18+, false positives are possible (the underlying library can't fully simulate terrain heightmaps). We make no guarantee that any specific seed will produce the structures listed.

Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Service. You can stop using the Service at any time. Closed accounts forfeit any remaining credit balance.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll bump the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify signed-in users via the app.
