Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect and what we don't. We try to keep this list short.

What we collect

• Account info from Clerk: your email address and a Clerk-assigned user ID. We use these to identify you across requests and to send you a receipt when you buy credits.
• Query history: every natural-language query you submit, the structured filter we generate from it, the search version (Minecraft 1.16-26.1), and how much it cost us on the Anthropic side. We use this for usage accounting, debugging, and to improve the translator over time.
• Credit transactions: when you buy credits or admin grants them, we record amount, dollars (for purchases), and a Stripe session ID. We use this for billing reconciliation.
• Server access logs (standard): IP address, user agent, and request paths in our hosting provider's log retention window. Used for security and debugging.

What we DON'T collect

• Card or banking details. Payments go through Stripe. We never see your card number — we only get a per-purchase ID after payment succeeds.
• Anything about your Minecraft worlds. Seed search runs entirely in your browser. The seeds you click and the results you inspect never leave your machine.
• Browsing history outside Seed Finder. We don't track you across the web. No third-party analytics or ad pixels.

Who we share with

• Anthropic: receives your natural-language query (without your identity) so it can return a structured filter.
• Clerk: receives sign-in / sign-out events. Standard auth provider.
• Stripe: receives purchase amount + metadata (your Clerk ID, pack name) during checkout.
• Neon: our managed Postgres provider — the queries, transactions, and users tables live there.
• Vercel (production): hosting provider.
• No one else. We don't sell or rent your data.

Retention

Query and transaction records are kept indefinitely so the admin can audit usage. If you'd like your account and history deleted, email the admin — we'll delete it within 30 days.

Your rights

You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing the admin. We don't make this self-service yet but we honor requests promptly.

Cookies

We set the cookies that Clerk requires for sign-in sessions. No analytics cookies, no ad-tracking cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll bump the date above and, for material changes, notify signed-in users via the app.
